Policies
Please read through my policies & procedures. I reserve the right to make changes at anytime. Thank you. Last updated on 11/05/2025.

Booking
If you plan to book an event, 2 weeks notice is preferred. However, I can accept some last minute orders. Colors may be subject to availability or a rush fee may apply if I need to order in supplies.

All inquiries can be sent via email or a quote form on my website. Please allow 24-48 hours for me to respond via email. Your quote expires after 5 days once it’s sent. See my services.

Order minimums
-$150 minimum (before tax) for balloon garland or event installations
-$72 minimum (before tax) for grab & go garlands.
-$50 Minimum (before tax) Dipped Treats

Payment
For Event Styling and Balloon Styling:

A signed contract and $50 non-refundable retainer fee are required to book your event date and will be applied to the total cost. The final payment will be due 7 days before your event date. You are welcome to pay in full if you choose. If you book less than 2 week before your event or if the order is under $100, a payment will be due in full. (includes non-refundable retainer) If the final payment isn’t received, your order will not be delivered.

Indiana sales tax will be applied to the retainer fee & final payment. I accept Paypal, Venmo, Cash or Money orders.

A retainer fee secures your date & protects me from cancellations or unexpected changes. The fee will help cover costs for ordering supplies & starting the design process.

Balloon Disclaimer
Collins Celebration Creations is not responsible for the balloons once they are delivered. My balloons are premium quality and they can last weeks if kept indoors. However, due to the nature of balloons, some may deflate occasionally or lose their shine over time. Balloons last the longest when they are hung indoors and out of direct sunlight. Once the balloons are delivered, all sales are final & no refunds will be given.

Outdoor installations: I use high quality balloons & techniques to help the balloons last for your event. I can’t guarantee that all balloons will remain in perfect condition. Balloons will oxide or lose their shine in the hot sunlight. Some balloons may deflate on their own. Balloons may be adversely affected by wind, rain or other factors out of my control. It’s best to hang up the balloon in a shady area if possible. In cooler temperatures, balloons may shrink some.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Terms
I understand that plans can change. If the client needs to cancel the event, a request must be submitted in writing (or by e-mail).

Cancellation: If a client decides to cancel their order, they need to notify me in writing (or by email) at least 48 hours before the event delivery/installation. If the client has paid in full, they will be refunded for part of the payment. The deposit/retainer fee is non-refundable. If the client notifies me less than 48 hours before the event delivery/installation, cancellation will not be an option & the total amount will be due in full. If the balloons have been delivered, no refunds will be given.

Rescheduling: If a client needs to reschedule, I ask that they notify me in writing (or by e-mail) at least 48 hours before their event delivery/installation. If the client notifies me less than 48 hours, then rescheduling will not be an option. The non-refundable deposit/retainer fee will apply towards the new event date in 365 days time. The date is subject to availability. If a year has gone by, the client will forfeit their retainer fee.

Weather Clause: If a client cancels or reschedules due to rain or bad weather, the terms above still apply. The client will have the option to reschedule their event date within 365 days. The non-refundable retainer fee will be used as a credit to reserve the new event date. The date will be subject to availability.

Rentals
All rentals need to be handled with care. If the rental is damaged, the client will be responsible to pay for the cost. Rentals are used items, so they may show minimal signs of general wear. All rentals require a pick up fee. Rentals may include backdrops, floral/greenery, cakes stands or other props.


Termination clause
In the case of force majeure clause, or an unforeseen act of God like like a tragedy or natural disaster, I reserve the right to cancel my involvement in the event. If I need to cancel for any reason, a full refund will be given or you have the option to reschedule and transfer your deposit as a credit for a later date.

If the client needs to cancel for similar reasons, I will decide how much money to refund on a case by case basis.

Indemnification clause
I accept no responsibility for negligence or willful acts at the hand of the client or event attendees. Such examples may include damage to the property or injury to an attendee or client.

Liability
I will not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property involving the goods or products we offer. The client is responsible to pay in full for any damaged or broken serving platters, glassware or rental items.

Kids & Pets Cautions
Uninflated or burst balloons can be a choking hazard and should never be left with children without supervision. Keep balloons away from pets so that they don’t get tangled with balloon ribbons or accidentally ingest popped balloons or their decorative contents like confetti.

Photography/copyright
I reserve the right to use any photographs I take of parties or balloon garlands on my website or for advertising purposes. These photos are under copyright of Collins Celebration Creations.

Setup & Take Down
For Event Styling: I need 2-4+ hours prior to the event to set up and decorate. Also, I will need 1-2 hours after the event to take it down.

For Balloon Styling: I will need at least 1 hour + before the event to install the balloon decoration. The installation time depends on how large the installation is. I will only offer breakdown of the balloons for indoor or outdoor arches or outdoor columns. Otherwise, you may keep or dispose of the balloons yourself.
